The Great Lakes Fishery Commission, along with its federal, state, provincial, and tribal partners, are asking for information from you about occurrences of sea lampreys and sea lamprey wounds in your catch. A web-based reporting database has been developed for your reports to sea lamprey control officials.

To participate, please login by clicking the login button on the left. Enter your data on the online form. Printable forms (click on the link to the left) are available to record your data while you are out fishing.

Specifically, you will be asked:
  • Your name
  • The date of your fishing trip
  • The location of your trip, including your port
  • Your method of fishing
  • The number of hours you fished
  • The number of each species caught
  • The number and size of live sea lampreys brought into the boat
  • The number of fresh (penetrating) or healed sea lamprey wounds (use the photos below as a guide)
REMEMBER TO RECORD ALL THE FISH YOU CATCH, EVEN IF THERE ARE NO SEA LAMPREY WOUNDS
