Sea Lamprey Research Program

Sea Lamprey Program projects should address one or more of the following:

 

·        Priorities identified by the commission’s strategic vision, or

·       Priorities identified by the Sea Lamprey Research Program’s research themes (as follows):

·        Assessment

·        Barriers and Trapping

·        Lampricide

·        Pheromones

·        Sterile Male Release Technique

·        Non-theme Area Research

 

Please Note:  Projects will be evaluated against the information needs described by the theme under which they are submitted.

Fishery Research Program

 

Projects should address one or more of the research questions or research priorities established in research theme areas listed below.  Theme areas describe a broad topic of importance to Great Lakes fishery management and establish key research questions and hypotheses that should become the focus of specific projects.

 

·        Ecosystem Health of Large Lakes: Developing Utility and Metrics

·        Fish Health and Ecosystem Dysfunction

·        Human Dimensions

·        Re-establishment of Native Deep-water Fishes of the Great Lakes

·        Council of Lake Committees Research Priorities

·        Great Lakes Fish Health Committee Research Priorities

·        Non-theme Research

 

Please Note:       Projects will be evaluated against the information needs described by the Research Theme under which they are submitted or the information needs described by the Lake Committees' research priorities.
