| March | Request for proposals issued |
| July 15 | Proposals are due |
| August - September | Proposals are reviewed |
| September | Projects are ranked by the Council of Lake Committees |
| October | BOTE develops recommendations for funding |
| Early December | Commission decides on which projects to fund |
| Mid December | Investigators notified |
