Council of Lake Committees Research Priorities

The Council of Lake Committees is composed of representatives from state, tribal, and provincial agencies represented on Lakes Committees. The duties of the Council are broad and include the consideration of issues and problems relevant to basin-wide fishery management.

The Council, along with its member committees, has developed research priority lists to identify immediate information needs of the management community. These prioritiy lists are updated annually and are available below to help guide investigators when formulating research questions. The Great Lakes Fishery Commission supports research addressing these research priorities.
