A product of the
International Association for Great Lakes Research, the
site represents an electronic compilation of the hard copy
archive of its journal. A searchable database on the
site makes the comprehensive collection more easily
accessible to users.
The site features
multi-disciplinary, peer-reviewed papers concerning
scientific, management and policy issues relating to the
Great Lakes.
The international
organization believes access to this information will
strengthen the link between science and policy and
therefore promote better management of the Great Lakes
basin.
The Great Lakes
Fishery Commission is the first sustaining member of
the International Association of Great Lakes Research.
