through the 80’s and then a decline again in the 1990’s. Currently lowest
level over past 20 years.

Targets equally
yellow perch and bloater chub in Canadian waters.
In northern US
waters species targeted is lake herring and round whitefish.Some small amount of effort targeted at
these species in Canadian waters as well.
