Lake Erie Committee - Standing Technical Committee
The Standing Technical Committee (STC)
consists of fisheries scientists from state and provincial
fisheries management agencies on Lake Erie. The STC
is a sub-committee of the Lake Erie Committee (LEC),
appointed by the LEC. The main function of the STC
is to organize and to help facilitate work in the
form of charges from the LEC. STC members are the
senior scientific advisory group for the LEC.
The following are the charges to the STC for the
2015-2016 work year.
Prepare the agenda for 2015 Lake Erie Committee (LEC) meeting.
Represent the Lake Erie Committee STC on the Council of Lake Committee's subcommittee, "Technical Committee Chairs".
Oversee Structured Decision Making application with Michigan State University's Quantitative Fishery Center (QFC), the
Walleye Task Group, and the Yellow Perch Task Group, towards development of new exploitation policies within the Lake Erie
Percid Management Advisory Group (LEPMAG) process.
Produce a Walleye Management Plan.
